Wild Horses Couldn't Drag Me Away
Having lived in Nova Scotia all my life, I have to tell you I am very fortunate. Most of my friends and family have left for work over the years, only to return at the first opportunity. Most people that visit want to move here. People are so friendly; the climate is moderate; there is little crime. People have good family values. It is a nice place to live and raise a family.
I live and work in Cape Breton. For close to 20 years, I have owned and operated a real estate company. I love what I do. I love the ocean, the Bras d'Or Lakes, the Margaree, the mountains! I meet people from all over the world; and help them by finding them properties here. Every day is something different. It is a very social job. Lots of challenges; yet is very rewarding.
I have been involved in selling around the province. I will never be bored with miles of shoreline, with some of the most reasonable prices in North America. We have a good stable government, we have a good banking system, people watch out for their neighbor. Really, what more can we want. There is an unlimited amount of natural resources in the province, for our children in the future. We are environmentally conscious. We have so much!
I see people from all over the world come here to buy a small piece of our beautiful province. No traffic, lots of space, lots of freedom, very little red tape. Life is simple here. Some can only vacation here, but those lucky enough to be able to move here, are so happy. Most of us don't know how lucky we are. I am reminded every day when I answer a call or email from a client looking to own a piece of our little heaven.
I have traveled to different parts of Canada, the US and Europe. But there is no place like Nova Scotia. The more you learn of different countries, the more you will love Canada. And the more you see of Canada, the more you appreciate Nova Scotia.
Wild horses couldn't drag me away. I will always help someone looking to come back here to be with family, retire, maybe want to raise a family here, to have a vacation spot, or investment for their future. When you love Nova Scotia, you want to share it. I feel very fortunate to be able to live here and welcome people to share the same experience.
