Gifting the Extraordinary

If your life is the sum of your days on earth, then some of those days should be extraordinary. My days have been extraordinary since I moved to Nova Scotia from Toronto when I was 9 years old. My parents were part of the 60's exodus from Cape Breton hoping to find the land of opportunity in the "big city". It was not what they expected so we made the move back to Nova Scotia. I was raised in Digby by two entrepreneurial spirits enjoying a fabulous childhood in small town Nova Scotia. I moved on to Acadia University to obtain my recreation management degree and stayed for a 12 year career with the university. The next stage of my story relates to the plethora of experiences I gained at Acadia, one of the only small, undergraduate universities in Canada.

Gifted was born from the recognition of the value of what we have in Nova Scotia. It is the land of experiences. I essentially create customized, personalized "bucket list" experiences for people. The reasons take on various forms from corporate recognition & retirements to unique weddings to milestone life events to catalyst for personal change! I engage "experience suppliers" from all industries including wineries, chefs, fashion designers, horse stables, car enthusiasts, tour operators ~ I match people with passion for their trades with those who are seeking an exceptional experience in their life! The resources available in Nova Scotia to deliver on evoking emotions of excitement, surprise, shock and awe are truly endless.

I am thankful my parents made that decision to come back to our home. There is no better place to be an entrepreneur with access to people and places that are extraordinary.
