Integral to Nova Scotia's cultural landscape since 1887, NSCAD University is one of North America's finest art schools and Canada's premier university dedicated to the visual arts. With three campuses, a growing reputation for research, and a progressive cultural vision, NSCAD produces internationally renowned creators, thinkers and innovators. Over 1,000 full-time students from diverse regions and backgrounds are enrolled at NSCAD, and an additional 1,500 local residents are engaged in extended learning programs.
