Charter Members
The Maritime Environmental Training Institute opened in 1998 and is a private career college registered with the Department of Education and the Department of Tourism, Culture and Heritage with locations in Sydney and Halifax. Recognizing the increased importance of environmental and safety training in today's world, METI has worked over the past number of years with renowned experts in the environmental and safety fields. In addition, METI is associated with Enform Petroleum Industry and is a member of the Oil Sands Safety Association. Students range from individuals receiving career training to experienced workers upgrading or acquiring new skills.
