The Truro and District Chamber of Commerce is a voluntary, membership-based group that unites the efforts of business and professional individuals to be a voice for business and promote matters of economic, social and political importance.
Founded in 1890 and representing more than 400 local businesses, the chamber harnesses the tremendous potential of the private enterprise system and enables its membership to accomplish collectively what no business could do individually.
The Truro and District Chamber of Commerce promotes Colchester's economy and encourages business and industrial investment. Through affiliations with the provincial, regional and national chambers, the Truro chamber influences national, provincial and local legislation that affects the business community. The chamber also helps ensure the Truro area is a good place to do business, raise a family and earn a living.
