DEMO 2008 is a live forestry show taking place September 18 to 20, 2008. Held every four years, this is the first time for the international show in Nova Scotia. Come to learn how the Department of Natural Resources helps manage our resources for today and tomorrow for all Nova Scotians. The department’s 1.5 hectare site includes a walking interpretive loop and will include a café-style tent featuring the current and past winners of the Woodlot Owner of the Year who will speak to forestry management.
Featuring 100 exhibitors and hosted by the Ledwidge Lumber Company in Enfield, the live forestry show will be held off the Old Guysborough Road near Dollar Lake Provincial Park. Onsite visitor registration will take place at Scotia Speed World. Shuttles will run continuously to the site throughout the day (a bus ride of approximately 30 minutes).
