A big round of applause for Nova Scotia-based Precicion BioLogic Inc., which was named among the Top 50 places to work in Canada!
The Dartmouth company is a leading Canadian developer, manufacturer and marketer of diagnostic products used to assess blood coagulation disorders. But this honour has nothing to do with customer service or its products. This national award is all about the way its employees are treated.
The Top 50 list was complied by the Great Place to Work Institute, using survey responses from nearly 24,000 employees from companies across Canada. “Being recognized as a great place to work® is a huge honour because it is largely due to feedback from our employees,” says Chairman and CEO Michael Scott. Scott says his company puts the same kind of focus on its employees as it does its customers.
Erin Falkenham is a production technologist at Precision BioLogic Inc. She says the pay and perks are great, but that’s not the sole reason for loving what she’s doing. “For me, it’s about being a member of a team that respects and values my input; feeling a sense of pride in my work; and having the space and comfort to take risks and have fun in my job,” says Faulkenham.
Precision BioLogic Inc. is located in Dartmouth’s Burnside Park. They’ve been in business since 1989 and employ 51 staff.
Precision BioLogic Inc. is the first Atlantic Canadian company named to this Top 50 list. It is one of many honours already received by this company and signals more accolades to come.
