Cape Breton County Economic Development Authority
The Cape Breton County Economic Development Authority's mandate is to promote and facilitate economic development, including community-based development, in Cape Breton County. The authority continues to build new partnerships while strengthening existing ones. The importance of working co-operatively and collectively with demonstrated partners in economic development is fundamental to the region's economy. CB-CEDA has worked with many economic, community and private-sector partners to accomplish projects and initiatives that have provided needed infrastructure, created capacity among community groups, strengthened sectors and strengthened partnerships within the region.
