About Nova Scotia
Nova Scotia is located on the east coast of Canada, within a two-hour flight from the United States. And with 7,400 km of coastline it is almost completely surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean. Principal urban centres include the Halifax metropolitan area and Cape Breton Regional Municipality.
Due to the ocean's moderating effect Nova Scotia is the warmest of the provinces in Canada.
