For 30 years, Landmark East has been Canada’s independent co-educational day and boarding school for students with learning disabilities in Grades 6 to 12. The school provides quality intensive academic remedial programs and services through an overall student/teacher ratio of about 3:1.
The school sits on five acres in Wolfville, offering students the benefits of living in a university town. It provides students with personal growth experiences and quality physical education and weekend recreation programs.
Each year students from Nova Scotia, as well as from across Canada, the U.S., England, the Caribbean, Bermuda, Australia, South America, the Middle East, the Far East and Asia study at Landmark East. In fact the school has welcomed students from more than 20 countries over the past decade - making the campus a global community.
Through Landmark East’s high school program, approved by the Department of Education, about nine out of 10 graduates pursue a post-secondary education. Landmark East is also designated as a special education private school that enables Nova Scotia students with learning disabilities to receive financial support to attend the school.
The school is committed to helping students overcome financial barriers as well through the Landmark East Bursary Endowment Fund.
