The exhibition is titled “Little Thunder is Leaving Home” by Alan Syliboy, referring to the art work that Alan created for the 2010 Olympics animation project for the National Film Board . This will be the world premiere of this animation!
Visit McCarthy Gallery at 36 Arthur St. on the NSCC Campus in Truro, N.S.
Gallery Hours: Monday -Thursday 8am- 6pm Friday 8am-4:30pm.
Alan has 4 projects for the Olympics, the release of the animation will be the third featured thus far. In November, Coke will be featuring his artwork on their commemorative bottles. This will be a very unique show for Truro, and for Nova Scotia as the Olympics animation premiere will be here. The show itself will be educational, using new technology, animations, have long distance components and of course artwork. We are very fortunate to have him living in our community and willing to share and showcase this here. He has a heart for the community and a very generous spirit. We feel as Nova Scotians we should join with him in celebration!
