Barb Stegemann

Author, columnist and motivational speaker Barb Stegemann (The 7 Virtues of a Philospher Queen) has launched Afghanistan Orange Blossom Eau de Parfum.  Says Barb, “The scent brings the thesis in my book to life -- women in North America own the buying power, yet we still have issues of poverty and war in the world.”  The concept of buying the oil harvested from the licit orange blossom crops in Afghanistan is one Barb is sharing with businesses in Nova Scotia and across the country. “In order to end war, we must economically empower the people in war torn nations,” says Barb.  Doing trade with Afghanistan is her way of being part of the change.

Raised in rural Nova Scotia, Barb went on to found The 7 Virtues Communications Group, a company that helps large corporations and government organizations adapt to their changing environments. She delivers talks to women and men on economic development and visualization throughout Canada.
