John Gracie

Multiple ECMA award winner and JUNO nominee, John Gracie grew up a stone’s throw from the Atlantic Ocean in Glace Bay, Cape Breton.  There is no doubt the sea has influenced his writing, Seabird’s Cry, Ode to the Fishermen and Nova Scotia Lullaby are some of his best works.  John travelled the globe singing on behalf of Nova Scotia Tourism and Culture, sharing the music and culture of his home.  His catalogue hosts 11 albums including  the Canadian best seller, John Gracie- A Gene MacLellan Tribute and his popular Christmas CD that received gold record status.  John currently works out of his home studio in Dartmouth and is now in pre-production on his next project, a duet album with his daughter, Samantha.  To learn more about John Gracie, visit www.johngracie.ca ,join the John Gracie Fan Club on FACEBOOK or follow him on Twitter.
