Charter Members
Nova Scotia's Community Access Program (C@P) is a joint federal, provincial, and community initiative that provides Nova Scotians with affordable public access to information technology, computers and high-speed Internet. There are more than 200 C@P sites across Nova Scotia in both rural and urban communities.
C@P serves a diverse range of people from all ages and backgrounds, each with various needs that can be satisfied by access to and use of information and communication technology. The services and products offered by C@P meet a number of basic and advanced information technology needs. These include: access to the Internet, computer basics training for all ages, including lessons in software, podcasting, blogging, Facebooking, Internet safety, web page development and much more.
During the summer months, C@P employs about 110 youth throughout Nova Scotia, providing valuable work experience that can be used to further their education and career goals.
