The Uncommon Group is a Halifax-based company focused on creating, establishing and managing innovative retail environments in Nova Scotia. The Uncommon Group has nine retail stores and more than 50 employees in the Halifax area.
The Uncommon Group includes Uncommon Grounds Coffee Houses, Sugah! Confectionery & Ice Cream Emporium, Rum Runners Rum Cake Factory, Uncommon Kids Gear and Carbonstok.
In 2009, the Uncommon Group was awarded Best New Store Design in Canada from the Retail Council of Canada for Carbonstok.
