As Atlantic Canada's oldest and most prestigious oil and gas event, the Canadian Offshore Resources Exhibition (CORE) and Conference is an annual gathering of decision makers and experts in the oil and gas industry. The purpose of the conference is to identify, promote and support the development of opportunities in hydrocarbon and associated energy industries.

Nova Scotia has tremendous untapped potential for energy development. Already boasting excellent geologic indicators for petroleum and endowed with some of the most powerful tidal forces in the world, Nova Scotia also has new ideas for innovative licensing and streamlined regulatory processes to better capitalize on its energy opportunities. A highly skilled workforce and an experienced local business community complete the momentum that can bring new energy opportunities to markets - all from a close and easily accessible ally.
