Founded in 1962 by Doug Morrison, Valley Stationers Ltd., has grown from a local office supplies company into a full-service complete office solutions company, serving Nova Scotia and beyond.
In 2007, Doug turned the family business over to his two sons, Ian and Leigh, who grew up in the business and bring years of expertise in providing quality office supplies, equipment and furniture to the company’s many customers province-wide.
Valley Stationers Ltd. employs in access of 46 people throughout Nova Scotia and has offices in Kentville, Halifax, Truro, Bridgewater and Yarmouth and has representatives throughout Nova Scotia.
In 2005, Contract Furnishings, a dedicated division of Valley Stationers, opened its Halifax Regional Municipality office in Bedford, NS to service their growing business in the Halifax Metro area.
Contract Furnishings is a full-service provider of high quality furnishings for a wide range of applications in commercial, business, governmental and institutional workplace environments.
Our clients include health care and educational facilities, hospitality providers, and government and business offices. Our commitment to service is second to none.
We started our business in Nova Scotia because of the rich culture, our family roots and the loyal ethics that come with of doing business in Nova Scotia.
After almost a half-century in business, our company stands by its original motto: “Big Enough to Serve, Small Enough to Care.”
Valley Stationers has been strong and proud supporters of community groups and organizations for almost half a century.
