When asked about RCR’s role within the community, VP of Sales, Elizabeth Newman had this to say: “We see RCR working with HRM, the World Trade Centre, the hotels and other interested parties in bringing new business to Halifax. Regardless of the demands placed upon us, we believe there is always a way to make the event work like the client wants. Then we work like the devil to make it so. It makes us proud that they encourage their friends to work for us,” says Ms. Newman. “We have employees who worked with us when they were in university and then came back to begin a career with us. Others have gone into various businesses and have become our clients – that’s a nice legacy to have.”
