NSAC is a university where learning, research and industry collide. Our students, professors and researchers work hands on to solve real world problems every day. Problems like food security, water shortage and climate change. But global problems require collaboration. We’re here for people who want to make a difference but are searching for the place where they can make a difference. Our high-tech, on-campus facilities are available to not only our professors and researchers, but also our students. These facilities allow instant testing of theories and ideas and are a key component of our consistent ranking as one of the most research intensive universities in Atlantic Canada.

We have built strong partnerships with universities around the world that allow our people to study abroad and really embrace their role in the world. Our campus population is reflective of these partnerships and we are proud to be home to many international and local talents.

While we’re dedicated to making a positive global impact, we understand that life isn’t just about studying. That’s why we fully support varsity athletics, on-campus clubs and student led initiatives. We also understand that university is expensive. That’s why 35 per cent of our students receive a scholarship or bursary.
