Commercial Safety College
The Commercial Safety College of Truro, Nova Scotia, was established in 1959 making it the oldest private career college in Canada teaching truck driver training. The school operates as a registered Private Career College in Nova Scotia, P.E.I. and New Brunswick and is well-known to the trucking industry across Canada as a leading skill training center.
Offering courses in class 1 and class 3 truck operation, the Commercial Safety College is also a recognized school bus and motor coach driver training facility.
Since 1980, Commercial Safety College has been offering a heavy equipment program at the college in the form of modules in the operation of excavators, bulldozers, backhoes, loaders and various crane programs along with a crane operator training programs. The college issues certificates upon successful completion of each program.
Commercial Safety College is well-known for customizing programs and providing evaluations to many types of industries and government bodies throughout the Maritimes and across Canada.
