
Founded in 1999, le Conseil de developpement economique de la Nouvelle-Ecosse (CDÉNÉ) is a non-profit organization devoted to improving the well-being and quality of life of Acadians and Francophones in Nova Scotia. Assisting and supporting the provincial Acadian and Francophone regions with economic development, employability and promotion of the Acadian and Francophone business community, the CDÉNÉ facilitates economic diversity and growth.
CDÉNÉ’s efforts are focused on the Acadian and Francophone populations situated in the five regions of: Cheticamp, Halifax, Clare, Richmond and Argyle.
To fulfill its mandate, CDÉNÉ promotes Acadian companies, encourages entrepreneurship, motivates youth to become involved in business, strengthens the Acadian tourism experience and is involved in community planning and capacity building.
