Nova Scotians Celebrate Pens Win

Nova Scotians Celebrate Pens Win

Nova Scotians everywhere, were on the edge of their seat watching the Stanley Cup final.  Fellow Nova Scotian, Sidney Crosby, was chasing his dream of a Stanley Cup win.  I remember Sidney from his early years.  A humble young man, dedicated to his passion.  As he hoisted the Cup for the very first time, Nova Scotians celebrated with him.  The arena where he once played in Cole Harbour was packed with cheering fans, both young and old.  Sidney Crosby and his Pittsburgh Penguins beat the favorites - the Detroit Red Wings - to win in game seven of the NHL championship.   Crosby, at 21, is the youngest captain in NHL history to win this championship.  Throughout his young career, Crosby has been making Nova Scotians proud.  If you missed the moment, here's a link that will let you relive Sidney's big moment: http://www.cbc.ca/sports/ondemand/?playlistId=db01e83acfdc7f61c32cb42fabc2af9a1c8490bc&videoId=1151232574

Soon, Sidney will be coming home to Nova Scotia, to host a Stanley Cup party in his hometown.  There's no doubt in my mind that Nova Scotians will crowd the streets and deliver with a warm welcome!
