The festival was founded by Heather Gibson with Halifax musicians Jill Barber, Rose Cousins, Jenn Grant, and Amelia Curran.

Yuletide Cheer: Halifax Crafters Society Winter Market

One of the best darn craft shows in the city is back for it's 6th annual winter market. With over 80 crafters offering everything from jewelery to paper crafts to plush to pottery, the Olympic Centre will be full of Yuletide Cheer.

The show is from 11am to 6pm on Saturday and Sunday. There'll be lots of great gift ideas at every table and food vendors selling lunch and cupcakes and coffee.Read more
